I assumed there were 100 pieces of each. It clearly says in the description though, that there are 20 hooks, 40 D rings and 40 key rings. I particularly needed the hooks, so I’m annoyed with myself for not reading the description. The hooks are pretty solid. Some stick, but if you’re patient, and open and close them slowly, they eventually work fine. D rings are sturdy. Key rings open easily. At first I mistook them for being flimsy, but they retain their shape well. In the picture they appear to be a bright chrome/silver, however, in reality they’re closer to a grayish/silver. Still a good purchase.
They are great when being applied to things that are appropriately sized. For example, this will fit perfectly fine on anything that is the width of a straw or less. I wouldn't recommend going further than that. I made luggage tags with them and they're great to clip on the little zipper hole. If you make the clasp work too hard it will snap. So it will not work well for heavy objects.

Great value - I gave only four stars because I don't know how durable they are yet, but so far they are awesome!
