I just want to say that these are the most magnificent inexpensive tie tack blanks that I've ever bought. They are a shade of standard costume jewelry silver that makes me think, "This is what unicorn hooves are made of." I had no problem sticking jewelry bits, small patches, and human eyeballs to them to make some uber-creative tack pins. All that was required was my trusty glue gun, some creative, and a local anesthetic. The backs stay on and don't fall off. My tie tacks shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. I hope that this, my second review for this product, meets with Amazon's approval.
Received this fast, in perfect condition and was exactly what I expected. Great for all kinds of crafts. I originally ordered to make kimono clasps so that it wouldn't slide off my shoulders. But now I'm using them for all kinds of stuff.
I used these to make my own thumb tacks. They're great. Tack head is great size. Not too small for gluing and not so large that it peeks out. Points are sharp which is ideal. I'll be buying more!
I love these! Inused them to make my own little pins/buttons and they were easy to use. Some are a bitch stretched backwards so they won't close over the pin part. But all you have to do is push it tightly and it should work great.
I used these to convert my lapel flowers from stick to clutch pin. I cut the stick and glue the pin to the back of the flower. Great results. try it.

They work ok, but the gap between the clutch and the pin is pretty big. Things I've used them on don't grasp tight enough and spin loose.
Most of the pin backs connected to the pins just fine, but several of the butterfly clasps broke easily and others would not stay connected to the pin. Overall, these were decent quality for the money.
NO assembly required. Others come all separately.
Going to use to make pins for our Senior Center patrons for the holidays !!

Great product!!!! No issues with the installation of the product or the backs. Usually I have issues with the metal backs on pins like this, but these are great!
