I have several other loupes that I use for electronics, SMD, etc. but when I saw this 20X lighted loupe I decided to buy one and give it a good test. Removing from the box and the plastic wrap I found the batteries already installed. Since this unit has a hard switch that should not be an issue and it was not. The build quality is surprising for the money, although it is mostly plastics the black upper ring is fairly thick and robust. The bottom clear bezel is also fairly robust for the money paid. The switch appears to be pretty decent but only time will tell if it holds up to repeated use, it's certainly better than I expected for the money. The LED ring is small and compact and surprisingly bright for the compact size. The lens works well on flat surfaces as well as 3D objects and it also seems to be center corrected for better focus and clarity of the object being viewed. The unit comes with a small soft carry case which is stitched and has a center snap to hold the flap shut. Although the quality of this carry case may be average, it seems to do the trick but I don't think it will hold up to long-term use in and out of a pocket or bag. You may want to plan for a small plastic hard snap case or something along those lines for long term carry/usage. All in all, it's a nice compact lighted loupe definitely worth the money!
I ordered the Fancii LED Illuminated 20x Jewelers Loupe to enhance the visibility of dates on some old coins because my 8x magnifier wasn't doing the job. I selected this particular loupe based on price point, ratings, and previous customer reviews. I did encounter one minor glitch with my 20x jewelers loupe which John (owner/operator) IMMEDIATELY addressed and rectified by sending me a replacement unit. Additionally, John stayed in contact with me until I had received the new unit, used it, and was completely satisfied with the device. I really like this particular loupe because the LED lights coupled with the magnification has allowed me to clearly see some very feint dates on old Buff nickels. Additionally, the magnifier can be unscrewed from the base for really close work with coins. I sincerely appreciate John's level of personal and committed customer care and service. He stands by his product!
I got this because of my recent interest in coin collecting. I wanted to be able to zoom in on small details and this does ok for that, but I think the magnification may be a bit TOO much. You really need to put your eye against the eye piece to be able to see anything clearly, and then you can only see a very small part of the coin at a time. IMHO it is overkill for coins, so I also ordered another loupe that I think is more useful here:

This one was only $5 with any order of $25 or more, so it was also much cheaper than the Fancii loupe. like the fact that it is lighted however, the $5 one is not.
I brought this loupe to read the laser inscription on my engagement ring diamond. I admit I was skeptical almost bought and expensive one but this worked fine. I found the inscription with a little adjustment, the lighting was fine and it is compact so I will take it with me when I'm looking at jewelry or having my ring cleaned to make sure they don't switch up my expensive diamond.
great practical mobile product incl. leather sleeve ; ) albeit too small.
5 star if:
1. bit bigger
2. bit higher on clear surrounding wall.
3. "Adjustable Focus": how, i twist lens but there's no adjustable focus?
4. "Professional Quality" for "Photographers" & "Premium High Clarity" for "Film Negatives" or slides is not true, lest you have a lit box under negative or slide, with Fanci loupe on top but without using LED lights that would glare in between. For rest of uses for a loupe, it works.

I bought this item to help my wife with her rock collecting, specifically her search for petrified wood. The optics are great and the illumination is very helpful when looking at details. My initial thought was that the lens was too small but after using a few times I found the size acceptable and I am not sure a bigger diameter lens would provide any more comfort. Overall, this is a great product and I was certainly impressed with not only the quality but the cost as well. I do wish to see a UV version at this power one day.
I've been using this for checking my Magic: The Gathering purchases to look out for counterfeit cards. The LED light is helpful when you want to put your phone down on it to take pictures to dispute authenticity on some older modern/legacy cards. Works great, sometimes it's easier to use this than my much nicer handlens.
I have always wanted one of these and this is the first one I have owned. It took my breath when I looked at a diamond under it! Wow! Such clarification! And now I am able to make sure my prongs are secure. However, I have not been able to figure out how to read marks inside a ring (blurry) because it seems to need to be flat against the item viewed. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to view a flat surface with it and maybe I'm not using it correctly when trying to view the inside of a ring.
This loupe is very good for seeing things very close up. I was using a 5X magnifier loupe and it wasn't enough when looking at some watches and watch parts. Very nice inclusion of the light. Very fine detail I am now able to see with ease. Very fun and useful. Comes with a carrying case too. Very nice would recommend.
At my company we make lots of small molded parts. The parts sometimes come out with flash or shorts that are hard to see with the naked eye. Although x20 mag is overkill, it beats having to spend 15 min to go down into the clean room to use a microscope.
I do have one gripe with it. The focal point is very small, so I have to bring it really close to my eye to get a good look at anything. Since I wear glasses it is kinda bothersome, but I can live with it.
