These blocks help evenly disperse heat while soldering during jewelry making and precious metal work; and they are capable of withstanding temperatures up to 2000°F with little or no thermal expansion. Holes can be used as anchor points for wiring or positioning small parts for soldering. Please note that these blocks should be used on top of a larger fire-proof surface for safety.
