First impressions: The item is well made. It comes in a small square box. When you open the box, the Loupe is enclosed in a leather case. I mistakenly bought two of the 10x loupes. I wanted the 30X ones. I am a CONECA representative, so I will hang the 10x Loupes on the table, and the newly ordered 30x Loupes for my personal use. I wear reading glasses, I was able to keep my glasses on and look at a coin, focus on it pretty easily. I think if your going to order a Loupe to use on coins, a 10x is good for the larger coins, and the 20x or 30x will be nice for smaller coins.So far, I am pleased with the quality - and the shipping was extremely fast. Price is outstanding for the packaging and leather case as well. I've been a coin collector for over 30 years, and all I can say is, this particular product made me smirk, it will be used when a microscope refuses to focus on a coin.
I'm a coin nerd and loops are essential to my work. This one has excellent optics and a tight hinge. I've paid 10X more for the best loops but this one really works just as well. Fast/secure shipping, cool and well constructed little leatherette case is included.
This is the industry standard jewelers loupe! I bought this because I wore out its predecessor, after 20 years of use! It’s that sturdy!
