Jeweler's Hammer in Plastic Rubber with 2-1/2-Inch Head Metal Smithing

Jeweler's Hammer in Plastic Rubber with 2-1/2-Inch Head Metal Smithing

If you have need to use either a plastic or rubber light-weight hammer, this very low cost hammer is working well for me. I needed to round out a ring and used the sizing stick I also bought at Amazon as a form and it worked great! This is a very light weight hammer and certainly has limited use for forming lightweight jewelry, wire or sheet-metal, but for those purposes it does work well.

4 stars, mine is holding up reasonably well, you can tell the goal here was to be low cost and not highly refined as the fit and finish is mid-range, but hey for a couple bucks, what can you really expect!

This has been fun and easy to use. It has given me the freedom to create what every metal words I want in my art or scrapbook projects. It is light so anyone will be able to use this tool with ease. I does the job it needs to do. This is a great tool to add to your supplies if you like to make a variety of projects and like to set no limits on your creativity.

Cheap little jewelers hammer I picked up so I could fix my wife's out of round ring.I used it in conjunction with a ring sizer. It works but it is no work of art. Recommend for the occasional user on min or repairs. One hammer end was loose when it arrived, all I had to do was screw it tight and it worked fine from there.

This little guy is holding up great! I have been using this hammer religiously for 2 years now and it's as great as the day it arrived. Very versatile and lightweight. Probably my most used tool.

Overall I'm happy with my purchase. I thought it would be a bit larger and feel sturdier but so far it's serving its purpose perfectly and I'm happy.

I bought this to use with a ring mandrel to fix a ring that got bent out of shape. Took about 6 taps and the ring looks new. Will be using this to make rings out of coins.

Excellent for small jewelry you must soak the handle and water to tighten up the hammerhead

I could see at once why it was discounted, there is a piece of wood missing near the hammer head section of the handle. But, at the price, a total of $3.49 including shipping, I'll take my chances. The delivery time was excellent especially considering that it went regular mail. So, yes, I love it have not used it much yet, but heck it's not for hammering nails. Just light tapping of silver, gold and other metals used in the making of jewelry.

Shipped fast, exactly as described. I have bought quite a few thibgs from Beadsholique and all items are high quality and very well priced. I highly recommend making Beadaholique a regular on anyones shopping list. Everything is exactly as described and pic'd. I will certainly be back.

Very versitile - hard cap on one side, nylon on the other. Very well made, durable, much less expensive than going to the local jewelers' supply stores to purchase. Only down side is that it was a little smaller than expected, would have liked it to be larger.
