So, first, I have to say these are around 24 gauge -- perhaps 22 gauge depending on your caliper and such but I knew that going in. They worked fine for my beading. I didn't have many issues with too many being bent, and for the price, I was definitely happy go get so many.
I can say I tried to use a few on some simple clay pendants and they seemed a little soft so I hammered my loops to make them stronger. I would go up to about a 20 G if you need them for pendants instead of just simple beads. The curve foot didn't bother me -- I knew that going in and it's actually preferable when I insert it into a clay bead before baking and curing. It seems to help stabilize the bead after it's done and then I can loop and hammer.
Overall, would buy again, but would like more gauge options for other projects as far as Amazon availability. Their website has much more of a selection but.. PRIME! haha.

I purchased these stainless steel headpins to use in making crystal drops for bangle bracelets and for earrings. The headpins were delivered very quickly and were packaged securely and arrived without damage. The stainless steel was very good quality and I was able to manipulate them easily to wire wrap them into drops and earring components. I was a bit worried that the stainless would be too hard to bend and secure, but that was not the case. The gauge/thickness of these headpins made it easy to bend and wrap them while making jewelry. Since stainless steel is stronger than other types of metal headpins and also will not tarnish, I will be replacing all other metal components with stainless steel going forward. I recommend these 2 inch 304 Stainless Steel Headpins for all DIY jewelry projects. I will be purchasing many more.
