Great tray of colors! The idea book was great for the kids! We have a lot of the shaped platforms but they lacked in the creativity to make their own without some inspiration. They are now working on modifying some of the ideas how they want them to look. Great item!
We were introduced to perler beads this Christmas. Where have we been? This is such a great activity for hours and hours of fun. This set is nice because all the colors are seperated out, which saves a lot of time not having to hunt through a bucket full of different colors. My only complaint is the darkest blue isn't really a true dark blue. I only know this because we also got a bucket of perler beads and that had a true dark blue in it. I do like the variety, and supplemented with a few other buckets, you will have all the colors you need to get some nice shading for different projects. My girls from 5-11 years old use these. We (including me) all love them and have spent 1-2 hours a few times a week working on projects.
My kid is a perler bead fan and this set was perfect! Perler beads stimulate kids hand function and develop creativity, if you’re looking for a crafting activity to do with your child this set will be helpful, it has helped him forget about technology for a bit, simply love it!
A good deal for the money. Good as a starter kit. I like that the beads come pre-sorted by color in their own tray. This will be a Christmas present for my seven-year-old niece who loves all things colorful and artistic. I look forward to watching her make my brother by her every type of tray and set of beads there are. I'm sure she's going to love it that much. Anything for his little princess, he says. This tray brings a lot of colors to used on everything and really brings more options to make "art" on beads, the problem here is the short amount of beads per color, are like 300 of each one, so you should need a lot of more colors, specially black, but I just bought it because I just started with this hobby a few weeks ago, so for a starter person like me is just good, but if you want to make more complex things you should buy a lot of each color.
calling it a two pack is a little misleading. they take a little longer to melt than a previous brand I bought. it's a little frustrating, but not the end of the world. adaptable. I haven't looked through the book as I bought this pack for a specific project, but I do wanna see if my 6 yr old might wanna start doing this with me.
I have bought the massive jars of perler beads, but needed more or specific colors. This fit the bill.
My son (10) is crazy about Perler Beads - these colors are bright and fun. Super fun craft for kids! All you need are some bead boards, Perler tweezers (be sure to get those) waxed paper and an iron!
