I bought both types of locking pin backs, the spring loaded and the Allen wrench type. These were the easiest by far. I never actually got the other type to work at all, I couldn’t get one to go onto the pin back. I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants to be sure your pins stay on your lanyard, shirt, jacket or wherever you put them.
You have to pull really hard to remove the back - at first I thought they were broken because I couldn't get them off but they aren't. They are perfect and now that I have my pins arranged on my craft bag, I no longer need to worry that they will accidentally fall off!
I bought these to replace the rubber pin keepers on my Disney pins, which are a pain in the butt to use. The pin locks are smooth, low profile, and attach and remove with ease. My husband has name badges that he's had for a very long time, so much so that the pins have poked completely through the cheap little pin keepers they came with. He was delighted to fix that problem with these pin keepers. All in all a top product!
Love these, looking forward to not losing any more pins! They fit on nicely and hold tightly. In order to remove, lift the end up while pulling back off.
The pin backs hold the pins securely. After losing a few pins, we decided we needed better clasps next time around. No lost pins this time! The clasps take a little practice to get opened, but soon we were trading with ease. No extra tools needed.

I have purchased these pins many times in the past to use instead of the black plastic ones that come on trading pins. Seasons are easy to put on and removed at the parks when trading pins. The best part is they are very secure and we have not lost any Pins from our lanyards. My children think these are the best things since sliced bread!

These work fabulously! My pins keeps falling off and I can’t tell you how many pin backs I lost and luckily I didn’t lose the pins. I saw these at an art show and thought I must find those.
