This wire came well packaged, and neatly coiled. The colors are bright, and while there is little difference between the 3 coils that are in the red family, I'm sure the folks who care about slight distinctions in shade will like the variety.
I haven't used mine for much yet, but I did need some wire for suspending parts I was spray painting, so I used the ugly yellow/green colored wire for suspending my parts. THAT worked great!
The wire was sturdy enough to hang small parts just with a "J" shaped bend, and bent easily enough that I could just tie off a loop for the heavier pieces. It all bends very easily, and holds it's bent shape well.
No idea for jewelry, but as I said, it bends easily, and holds the shape of that bend, so I'd think if you made a necklace, you might not love that it got bent and stayed that way. Easy to bend back, by who'd want to fool around with checking it all the time? I'd think it would be better for crafts, that need wiring, etc., but I'd hesitate on using it for jewelry.
The color of the wire is beautiful and it bends very easy. I make fairy wings for small wool felted fairy dolls and it is perfect to use with the Angelina (a shrink wrap type product). The colored wire looks so much nicer than plain metal.
Liked all of the different colors that came with it.
