Works great for fusing and melting glass. Is very weak and cannot be moved or touched. If you are very gentle, you might get a few firings out of each piece. Shipping was prompt and the product is easy to cut.
Works great and can be fired more than one time, also easy to clean up. Well worth purchasing, you won't be dissapointed.
Always an awesome product with fantastic results

Description
Sold in pack of 20, 20.5 X 20.5 sheets. PAPYROS Kiln Shelf Paper is a ceramic-based paper specially formulated for glass fusing. When placed between the kiln shelf and the underside of a glass project, PAPYROS prevents the glass from sticking to the shelf during firing. Because of its sturdy composition, PAPYROS provides excellent glass/kiln shelf separation on the first use, and frequently even in subsequent firings.PAPYROS is quite durable, and tends to retain its paper-like qualities during firing, rather than decomposing into loose dust. The degree to which PAPYROS retains its integrity can be affected by the characteristics of the glass being used (Transparent vs. Opal), as well as the intensity of the firing schedule. With transparent glasses against the paper, your finished project can often lift cleanly away from the papered shelf, leaving the paper weakened, but intact. By carefully lifting the glass project off of the PAPYROS lined shelf, you may find that you can achieve more than one firing from a piece of PAPYROS.Because of their more tacky nature, opals and opal-containing glasses tend to stick more to the paper as the hot glass expands and contracts - especially in a full fuse. When this happens, it won't affect your project, but you will most likely need to replace the paper before firing on the shelf again. A good rule of thumb: if there is a tear or hole in the sheet, then you will need to use a new sheet for your next project.
