Guys for the price, and for it coming on a plastic spool, we would recommend this product. Decent price and strength. I’ve made a few necklaces with it (I do personalized hand stamped jewelry) and so far so good. Pictured is what I made my daughter. I’ll update if needed when I see how it wears. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is bc I’m having a hard time finding jump rings to work with this chain. I saw they told someone “Small” but I have about 5 different size standard jump rings and heavy duty jump rings and neither will fit in the LINKS to fixate a charm or plate.
I bought multiple of these as I go through chain like nobody's business, since I make jewelry as a business. Normally I buy it a bit cheaper at whole sale with long shipping times for just the chain, but I had three shows in a row coming up and my chain was not going to be in on time. This was the one listing I found that seemed to be the best buy. That has definitely been the case. Originally I bought one roll, but I ran out too quickly as I was in hyperdrive mode for making due to having to hault production early in the year for carpal tunnel release surgery and recovery in February. So I had a lot of catching up to do and hopped back over and bought more. Why? Because this chain is absolutely lovely. It has prime shipping, so I get it super quick, and it comes with jump rings and lobster clasps? Honestly it's an amazing buy, its worth the slight price increase from what I had been buying for those reasons. In all honesty, I may continue buying this instead of going through where I had been before.
I live and die by this chain. I make jewelry on Etsy and I originally used pre-made necklace chains from Michaels but those wound up being the cheapest thing in the world–the links would fold in on each other and get stuck and break off. So I moved to buying spools of chain from Joann's, but they NEVER stock it. I felt completely hopeless as I saw orders pile up last holiday season for necklaces and I also saw my chain supply dwindling. I was desperate, so I turned to my most trustworthy friend: Amazon. And lo and behold, I found this chain. It is great quality–it looks great and also holds up well! I like the small size of the links too because it makes my jewelry look well-made and not like some 12-year-old made it. Not to mention, the fact that it comes with appropriately sized jump rings and lobster clasps is incredible. I never have to local shops now for necklace chain supplies because this has it all. 36 feet seemed like overkill at the time, but boy is it so comfortable to know that when it's getting "low" you still have like ten feet left.
I purchased this, along with some stainless steel discs, as my first jewelry making attempt. The chain is dainty but strong and nicely finished. The findings are also good quality. With a pair of wire cutters and needle-nosed pliers from my home tool chest, I was able to make exactly the necklace I had in mind, for about half the price of those I had seen for sale that were made of base metal.
Perfect for my project! These links are very small and fit only the smallest jump rings- but works perfectly for my earring project!

I love the way this chain looks. It’s pretty small chain, so I’ll have to use smaller gauge jump rings with it, but I’m looking forward to creating some nice pieces of jewelry with this chain.
The chain links are so tiny, but there are places you can get more jump rings if you accidently use up all the ones they send with it. Love the jewerly I've been making with it.
Not knowing what to get as a (newbie), I gave this a try. Am I ever glad I did. Other than having to use a magnifying glass to work with chain, I love this chain. (The magnifying glass might be due to my age). Easy to work wirh, very durable, stays shiny. Dainty looking, but am wanting to get a bigger chain for bracelets. I think about a 4 or 5 mm link size. I did get some 8mm but its just too big. Ok for men's wrist's, but too large for most women.
I'm using this as "trim" mostly and needed something that was an exact size. I took a chance that the measurements on here were correct, and they were. Works well for what I'm using it for, but I can only speak to using this tacked onto fabric. It appears to be a great chain for jewelry also, but since I'm not using it for that, I don't want to say until I've tried.
