There is some variability both in diameter and thickness. However all of the edges are flush cut and rounded. I think these will fuse very well.
I have been making small millefiori stud earrings. Based on the enclosed photo I think I might be able to get 30 pairs of matched earrings, and something interesting with the ones that have no mates, or the ones that have too much variability in size to be a matched set.
These turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Look as advertised in photo for my. There were no chipped or broken ones. Smooth polished all around. They are thick at about 4mm a few lightly under. Nothing 5mm in my pack. I received about 72 pieces in my order. This photo is one pack.

I really like these beads. I fuse on small dichroic background and make cute earrings. Also use for other decor.
