Aluminum ingots slide out with little effort.
The nit picky reviews below are crap. It's a graphite crucible, it's pure graphite no clay. It came in 2 days and came un-cracked and its in a square shape..... What more do u want?? It's worked great for me so far, I've melted alluminum and silver. No problems at all. I almost didn't buy it because I saw its low rating and I never buy below 4 stars, but took a chance and it's worked great so far.
