I use this for wire wrapping with a little chasing hammer to flatten my wire ends adds a nice detail to finished pieces the block is small and smooth perfect for my needs!
I needed a small anvil to backup number/letter stamping on keys, perfect. The clamp holds the key in place, die stamps held against the oak bar while striking.
This small block of metal is of high quality, and the size is a plus, in this case, as it fits to a fairly packed work-space while taking little for its own. It is recommended for amateurs like me, who do projects at home, and do not want or require industrial-scale anvil.
The bench block was great, and so was the price. Not much else to say about a bench block
