So pretty! These look really nice, and are a much more elegant design than your typical ear hooks.
I have not had the heart to try and stress test these; they are just too pretty to sacrifice to science. That being said, they feel sturdy and don't leave the impression that they are cheap and need to be tested to failure.
These are a nice bright silver. It's sometimes hard to know what you are getting when ordering online, so if you are wondering if these will match the earrings your are making or repairing, these are very close to the color of freshly buffed sterling silver. Although they say long, and look long, I've found that the long part is the wire, not the hanging height. They actually hang at a very similar height to a normal ear hook. This is not a bad thing, as a normal hook hangs at a good height. The added benefit to these is that they should stay in your ear much better than a normal ear hook since the wire points straight down.
Conclusion: This is a great set of hooks. I'm quite pleased with how my earrings are turning out with these. They are so beautiful that I have been very selective about which earrings I attach them to. See the image for an example. The earrings in the photo are Bubinga, and are hung with these ear hooks, and the linked jump rings.
These earring hooks are pretty, hang better (to me) than the fish hook style, and are easy to put on old earrings or new. They appear to be real silver as claimed, and did not bother my ears, so I'm inclined to believe the silver content is as stated. They came quickly; I would use Beadaholique again. They are delicate, but not flimsy, and how strong do you need your earring wires to be, unless you're going to be constantly bending them back and forth? Good value for price!
These are BEAUTIFUL! ELEGANT! PERFECT LENGTH! I have already had great compliments on these. In the past through months I have ordered many different kinds of earring wires and these are the best that I have ever received.
I bought these to replace the hooks in many of my dangle earrings. I had a lot that I couldn't wear because they made my ears sore. These hooks allow me to wear these earrings all day without sore ears!!
