Extremely good! It comes with the little box to put it in, and works great out of the box! To me, It only has 2 problems. 1- The Necklace Loop. It's in the form of a teeny tiny triangle, and I just COULDN'T find a sturdy chain that would go through it, so my solution to this is to: Get a key ring, attach it to the loop, then put your chain through the key ring, and it works perfectly. Problem 2 - After about 15-20 times of folding it out and back in, the screw that holds the cover and the magnifier together got pretty loose, so the magnifier wouldn't fold back in, without immediatly falling back out. The solution to this, is to just tighten the screw. Works perfectly after those minor adjustments! This Loupe works for everything: Stitching Clothing, Examining Jewelry, Reading Fine Print, etc. Amazing Loupe and I highly recommend it
I was skeptical of Purchasing this jewelers loupe. $5 I figured you get what you paid for. Boy was I mistaken. It's actually not too badd. For $5 you can't beat it. It comes the little plastic carrying case. The only thing that is an issue is the little hole where you would put a chain or something is not big enough for any kind of chain. But Other than that it does exactly what it's supposed to do.
The lens works well. I personally used it not for jewelry, but for examining the dot matrix on collectible cards to check for forgeries, and it works beautifully for that.
The overall build quality is a bit sub-par in that the joint starts getting all loose and slippery after it's been used a bit. I haven't used it a ton, so if it's something you'd be using daily, get something nicer, even if it's more expensive.
Perfect for inspecting stainless steel hardware and sailboat rigging for stress cracks/fatigue. Easy to use, feels sold and clear. It even comes with a nice case to keep it from getting lost/damaged in my toolbox.
I bought this one and an 8x (OP200 8x) because i feared the the field of view would be much smaller with the 30x21mm unit. While the magnification is clearly more detailed with the 30x than the 8x, you do not need both. For my use, both powers would be interchangeable.
Wonderful item. I needed to be able to get a good view of the knife blades that I am sharpening and this tool is perfect.

Pretty good little loupe for the price. It did just what I wanted it to do--identify some inclusions in a diamond, without having to spend a lot. Very satisfied.

I liked the size, easily fits in pocket. Use it for rocks, jewelry, slivers, anything that needs magnifying. Takes a beating on our hikes. I will order more for my grandchildren.
