Miles Kimball Bracelet Tool Jewelry Helper

Miles Kimball Bracelet Tool Jewelry Helper

Very basic, but solidly made, and does exactly what it's advertised to do. One caution: The clip is steel, with sharp triangular teeth. Use a cushion of some sort (like a Kleenex, or piece of paper towel) between the clip and quality gold or silver items, or items plated with quality gold or silver - otherwise it could gouge or scratch them.

As far as bracelet assistants go, this is the best option I could find. Others were made of flimsy plastic or overpriced; this was very affordable and is made of sturdy metal. The handle is long enough without being too long, and its compact size makes it perfect to either stay in my jewelry box or be tossed into my purse for traveling. The only thing that bothers me a little about this is the clamp. The clamp is made of metal and has a very firm hold, which is great for holding onto the other end of your bracelet. Because it's made of metal and has little ridges, though, it makes me nervous to use with some of my bracelets. I was afraid of using it with my diamond tennis bracelet because I wasn't sure if crushing it between the little metal teeth would damage the diamonds or gold links. Gold is a soft metal, and this clamp clamps down HARD. It ended up being fine, but it also took several attempts to place it in *just* the right spot of my bracelets to minimize any damage.

This bracelet tool is awesome! I bought one for myself, almost 60 yr old, and my mother who is 85. They work great for both of us. We both had trouble fumbling with our bracelets to put them on and off!!! Now it takes all of about 5 seconds, if that long, now. We both love them and use them all the time. Now I can wear my charm bracelet anytime I want. This tool is a great size and fits in your purse, too. Would highly recommend.

I'd like to first note that my package arrived about 4 days sooner than estimated (love it when that happens!). Thank you for the speedy delivery.

I have plenty of bracelets that I struggle to put on because it's really difficult to fasten the clasp on the rings on your own. I hate asking friends or family for help (and it's annoying for them, too) especially if I want to change the bracelets I wear day to day. I tested this out right out of the package-- I got 3 bracelets on with ease. I definitely recommend this product! I think it would make a great add on gift if you buy a bracelet (with a clasp) for someone!

This is a great little tool!! There are others that are prettier to choose from, but they all had reviews about breaking easily or not holding well. I will take quality over frills any time, and this is a quality little tool. It clips the end of the bracelet nicely so I can hook it by myself, exactly as its meant to. I highly recommend it.

This product is wonderful. I had a stroke two years ago and I have no feeling in my left had so I always struggled to hold a bracelet and get the clasp in the link. I was ready to give up wearing my bracelets until the owner of a jewelry store suggested this. It took a little bit to get the hang of holding/positioning it in my right hand correctly but now I am able to put on my own bracelets. Thank you J.H Smith Company.

I really like this bracelet helper. I bought this to take with me when I travel to our camp trailer, so I can leave my other one at home. I use a bracelet helper a lot and I would highly recommend this to others that need help putting on bracelets.

Works great! I can now wear bracelets that I stopped wearing because they were hard to get clasped. Glad I purchased this.

A must to have for any woman who struggles with bracelets with clasps -- and with husbands who have no fingernail tips, poor eyesight and little patience to assist you -- I bring this little helper with me on my traveling trips, as well as my husband. I do love them both!

I'm in my early 20s and think this is a great tool for anyone who wears bracelets. I am consistently struggling with clasps on bracelets. This tool helps with that and it's timeless. Shipping took a little more than a week. In addition to this tool, I purchased a Bracelet Fastener by Bracelet Magic and love that one too (http://www.amazon.com/Bracelet-fastener-Personal-Expressions-Collection/dp/B00K9SJMN4/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1420495112&sr=1-1&keywords=bracelet+fastener+by+bracelet+magic). I like the Miles Kimball tool better than the other one I bought because it is less fussy and can use quickly use it. Thanks!
