This was great for me. It was cheap in price and had most of the start up materials you need for jewelry making. I had never done it before and was not sure I would like it enough to spend a lot of money. It was a great kit. I got to try many different styles and it came in a carrying pouch. I say it is a great buy for all your basics

There was a part broken on one of the spools but nothing that effects any of the items. Came in a handy little bag. Everything looks great and seems to be of decent quality. There was a strong factory type odor when opening the bag but it seems to be dissipating well.
For the niece, there are lots of goodies, I hope she likes it...and gets involved in creating things
