I've been using these in my China cabinet for all the silver I've inherited & received as wedding gifts for almost 35 years! I've had to polish my silver only about every other year & they display beautifully. I just place 1 every cubic foot or so on the shelf. Unobtrusive and marvelously effective!
3M Anti-Tarnish strips stops tarnish on silver, sterling or plate, in it's tracks. Polish your silver, put it in an air-tight box or plastic bag, and if you only take it out for occasional use (don't leave the piece out completely unprotected for weeks or longer), you may never have to do that major polishing on it again. I've used these for years, they never fail. P.S. In an airtight container they will last much longer than the suggested 6 month replacement cycle.
I've just started using these silver protectors for my pieces of sterling silver jewelry--necklaces, pendants, earrings, and rings--by placing a small square of this paper in the small air-tight plastic bags that the artisans often use when they send us their jewelry pieces that we order. In the past, I've always kept my sterling silver jewelry in a jewelry armoire, but some of my sterling silver rings have still had tarnish appear on them. Others have been fine. I'm hoping by using this process, none of my jewelry will start to tarnish, or if it does, I can catch it before it really dulls the beautiful finish! I've read many reviews for this type product and think these should work very well. Everyone says the key is to remove all the air possible in the plastic bags, and the sterling silver should keep bright and shiny indefinitely! Looking forward to not having to worry with "polishing" and/or "cleaning" my jewelry!
I've used these anti-tarnish strips before and they are wonderful at keeping my silver in outstanding shape. These strips whisk the moisture from the air in a silver chest or silver bag. They even work, but to a lesser degree, on a piece that is large and needs to be stored but not enveloped in a silver cloth bag. Try them. I think you'll agree with me. These things work!
I've been using these anti-tarnish strips for several years. They really cut down on how often I have to polish my silver. I replace them every six months though I think the manufacturer says they last longer than that. Highly recommend this product for those who don't love to polish silver.

know how much time and effort these wonderful strips of paper save me... but, it's a lot. To be able to polish my silver, put it away with a Silver Protector and come back to it, months later, to find it in perfect condition is wonderful. As long as 3M makes them, I will buy them.
I have a lot of gold vermeil jewelry inventory and these are essential to keep them from tarnishing. Just pop them in the bag and make sure you seal against air which is what tarnishes.
Great product dramatically avoids cleaning, if the silver is kept in a glass case there won't be tarnish
For years I used to polish + re-polish silver, was super hard to keep up because the metal was always re-tarnished pretty fast.
Now I place these strips in the corner of the cabinets, which drastically reduces the amount of time required for polishing. Great prodect.
I have been using these 3M strips for years and they are wonderful. I put them behind my silver trays that are on display and they seldom need tarnish removal.
