Description
A lightweight refractory material processed from high purity alumina-silica fibers. Withstands temperatures up to 2300 degrees F (1260 degrees C). Can be used in place of shelf primer. Does not stick to your project, and gives a slightly textured surface to the back of your work. 1/8" paper is good for many firings. Does not contain asbestos and DOES NOT need to be pre-fired. MADE IN USA. One 8" x 12" Sheet. Fiber paper is different from thin shelf paper. It is thicker and adds texture to your glass when fusing. The fiber paper is porous. Air can circulate, therefore large air bubbles are less likely to form between the glass and the shelf.
