This book is a strange combination of a beginners book and an intermediate book. Many of the designs are excessively simple and others expect you to not only know spiral peyote stitch but tells you to vary the stitch based on a pattern given earlier in the book. Not impossible but it could be daunting to a new beader. Out of the 100 designs I only bookmarked 13 pages of things I found interesting, but if you are new to beading there are quiet a few simple projects to try. There is also a pretty good 'basics' section at the back of the book with instructions on each stitch. It's a decent book, unfortunately I was looking for something a bit more challenging.
This jewelry design book is the perfect instructional book for making jewelry. It is not for the beginner, but does give detailed instructions for many jewelry designs such as the peyote stitch, weaving, netting and stitching pieces. There are 100 patterns that can be made into beautiful jewelry pieces.
I enjoyed all the different patterns in this book. There are easy to complicated, to combinations therein instructions and patterns. The end of the book contains excellent instructions on the basic bead stitches, making this book an excellent desktop reference.
love the book but was badly damaged by water when I got it. It only cost a penny but I had to pay $4.00 for shipping so. not happy with the people who sold it to me. but it has a lot of great designs and they are easy for me a beginner so I got my moneys worth!
A nice little compendium of simple and some not so simple beadwork ideas. Very useful for a novice, especially one who has mastered the stitches but isn't ready to start designing on her own.

This book is full of many colour illustrations of 100 different bead designs done with delicate seed beads. The instructions are minimal, assuming that you are a somewhat experienced beader, though a less experienced beader would also like it. The variety of designs are very inspiring.Unlike beading magazines, no annoying ads. I am glad to add this to my valuable beading manuals.
This is a great book for beaders who want to learn various techniques through projects. The instructions are clear and the projects are pretty. I love these used books, too! Great price and fast shipping.
We are always looking for new ideas for our jewelry. This is a nice book with lots of ideas for us.
This book is great. I originally checked it out of the library and it had so many ideas that I liked, that I bought my own!!
