The Chomas Creation tool works with both the Explore and Maker machines. I engraved plaques made of 1/8" thick acrylic 5"x7" blanks using my Cricut Explore One. I tried it on the Cricut Maker first and did not like the results because the carriage dragged on the blank and scratched it as it engraved. But if you use a thinner material then you won't have this issue. For both machines I set the material to Poster board.
This is my second Chomas "engraver". I prefer the finer point on the new one as I can engrave on the anodize aluminum using a finer pattern than before. Worth every penny!

- With this precision tip you can engrave on pretty much anything you can fit under the machine rollers. The precision tip has a sharper point then the original engraving tip and can help with finer details for etching designs
- Simply add the precision tip in place of the blade and engrave anything you would normally cut.
