Stumbled across a vintage Pulsar watch in a yard sale recently, and after I got it working decided the 14K gold was looking a bit dull. I was NOT prepared for how much grime came off within moments! The white cleaning side literally turned black with the residue. The above pictures are after only about 3 minute's gentle rubbing with the cleaning side, I haven't even gotten to the final polish.
Very impressed how well it cleaned my white gold rings (without rhodium plating). Bought the cloth with some amount of skepticism but it really works! Didn't try to polish out all the scuffs, but after the first wipe, the rings were noticeably shinier and back to their original glory (almost, but again I didn't buff thoroughly). Tried on platinum for kicks, and seemed to kind of clean it... but the cloth is definitely for gold and works very well on gold.
Remember what your gold jewelry looked like when it was new? This two-sided cloth - one side for cleaning and one side for polishing and shining - will give your gold jewelry the next best thing to that "new" appearance. My crest ring accumulated "soil" over a period of years; crest rings often have a "shadow" look in the recesses of carved letters and shields, but they didn't when they were new. Cleaning the crest ring and then polishing it brings back that all gold no "shadow" appearance. What really struck me, too, is that the cloth brings out a glowing luster rather than a slick shine that can even be found on "costume" jewelry. These cloths are well worth the price.
I never used anything to polish gold before, because...it does not need it.
I was surprised that the gold looked shinier after being cleaned with this.
Also worked very well on some delicate gold plated silver cups I have.
I got engaged 5 months ago and after about 2 months, my ring started to look just so dull to me, I was not happy. When I found this product for so cheap, I had to give it a try. I used the cloth to clean a pair of expensive 14k gold puff earrings that had tarnished really badly. After a few rubbings the tarnish disappeared and the earrings became as good as new. I was so impressed with the result that I also tried it on a pair of gold plated earrings that had also tarnished badly and the cloth removed the tarnish immediately. I'm so glad I found this product! Money well spent!
Cleaned some old pocket watches and it really works. All watches now look like they just came from the store. Took all the dirt from them that you could not see and polished them to a highly gloss. Well worth the buy.
I use this to polish my ring about once a month and it takes out all the scuffs and leaves it looking new! Will definitely buy again.

Cloth works better than I anticipated. Does a great job cleaning and polishing, better than the liquids I have purchased in the past.
