It came in a clear plastic box that was kinda cheap, but I was able to put them all back in and keep it shut with a rubber band just in case. I've purchased locking pin backs from other sources before, and these are sized a little wider than I'm used to seeing them, but that doesn't affect their usage at all. The reason I dock one star is because a couple of the pin backs has actually broken on me. You can see in my provided picture that the lock release mechanism actually pulled right off. I had to use some needle nose pliers to pull the middle part up to get my pins loose. Two bad pins out of a hundred isn't bad for the price but still a little annoying and scary, so definitely test out the pin backs thoroughly before trusting them!!
This is the second time I have ordered this 100 pack locking pin back set, I collect enamel pins and need them in bulk to secure them to my vests. From each 100 piece pack, between 5-10 were “duds” where the locking mechanism does not engage to hold onto my pins. Another issue is the packaging, the little plastic box they come in always pops open during shipping, spilling the pin backs into the outer plastic bag, and the most recent shipment the case was cracked open and the plastic baggie was torn, so it was a mess of loose pin backs inside the Amazon envelope. But overall they are a good value for the price, just need better packaging and fewer “duds” would be nice.
No defective pieces, holds pins secure to my denim bag. No issues, will definitely purchase again.
I would package them better however, the packaging was completely open and the backs were loose in the bag when they arrived.
As a bonus, the shipping was super fast on just standard free shipping. Took only maybe 36 hours to arrive.
These are the best backs I have ever used, they stay on and I do not have an fear of them coming off. I feel safe having these backs hold my pins on to my lanyards.

These might be a little more expensive than other brands but they work really well and are so easy and fast. You just pull the top away from the base to move it, then release to secure it.
We went to Disneyland and got into pin trading. Some of the pins kept falling off my kids lanyards and clothes. These pin backs were perfect to save them from getting lost!
Perfect, just what I need to keep my pins secure when I go to Disney.
They work. If they stay on too long they might get kinda of locked but still better than losing a pin, and not that hard to remove if it does get kind of locked on there.
I work in corrections, and these fit all of my collar brass perfectly; stay in place too
