Pretty sturdy and good quality for the price. They fit nice and "click" into place on my good earrings with medium thickness posts. However, upon close up look they are imprinted 1/20 14K? See attached photo. I guess they are gold filled? I will see if my sensitive ears can withstand them.
Anxious that I might lose my favorite pearl earrings when their fasteners kept slipping off, I looked for a pair of secure backs to hold them in place. These are very nice, large enough for easy handling and provide a solid hold for my pearls.
Lost my favorite earrings, along with the non reactive gold backs ! Was devastated at my stupidity, until I found replacements. As a precaution I bought 2pairs (very reasonable). Large enough to handle larger button style earrings comfortably, without showing from behind your ears. Try them, you’ll be happy you did!

The backing to my pearl earrings were tiny and did not hold the earring to my ears. It was always floppy looking. I bought this in hopes it will be a sturdier backing. I am very happy with it. It was a descent size, so it held up my 11 mm pearl earrings.
these are larger than the 'usual' earring backs so be sure you look carefully at the measurements. However, in a perfect world no one sees the backs and for sure they are comfortable and safe and easy to use for folks with 'fat fingers'.
I purchased these backings because I lost the ones I had from my genuine pearl earrings. I love these!! My earrings feel extremely secure and I don’t need to worry about losing them!
These are just what I needed. I cannot cope with the small backs that are on earrings.
