This is a decent hammer for the price. I found that the nylon chips and flakes more than some other hammers I have used, but it does the job and I can't say I expected much more for the price. If you are working with metal, I might suggest getting a weighted raw hide hammer instead of this one, but for leather and wires this should do the trick, no problem.
