Large Water Beads, 11OZ (300 pcs) Water Gel Jelly Beads Rainbow Mix Growing Balls for Kids Tactile Sensory Toys, Vases, Plants, Wedding and Home Decorationoz (Large)

These are great and they've made my toddler look forward to bath time! He's not the slightest bit tired of them, even after three months. Things I've noticed with use:

- Give them longer than 24 hours to soak. They really don't reach full size or become completely round until somewhere between 36 and 48 hours.
- Leave them alone while they're growing. I handled the first batch a lot before they were done forming, and they all turned out wonky.
- It's normal for them to have creases in them before they're fully formed. Don't stop soaking until the creases are gone. They will go fully round if given enough time.
- They form better when you use distilled water. They form with more irregularities that cause them to break when you use tap water.
- They last longer if you alternate soaking them and leaving them out in open air when not in use. If you leave them out in the open air too long, they will form mold more quickly. On the other hand, if you soak them continuously, they seem to continue to absorb water until they burst.
- These supposedly help soil irrigation, so the easiest way I've found to dispose of a broken one is to put it on top of loose soil in the yard, step on it, and grind it into the soil with my shoe. We also ground one up in a pot with mostly-dead ivy, and the ivy recovered really quickly!

Ordered this for my grandkids and they had lots of fun with them, throwing them at one another.I like that they come in a little plastic jar instead of a pack, more easy to pour without worrying about spilling any all over there floor. Great value, great product

My daughter is OBSESSED with these. These beads get so big, after sitting in water for about a day. Glad I found these, especially for those rainy days indoors.

Its okay. Have had better quality

My granddaughter just loves these!

Description

WHAT TO DO WITH WATER BEADS

1. Sensory Water Beads
Really, there's not much more you need to do with water beads than have a bowl full of them to plunge your hands into and hold and squish them.
Water beads seem like magic to kids because the beads start out so tiny and grow within a few hours. Just watching the beads change is a fun activity for younger kids.

2. Decorating with Water Beads
The most common use for water beads is in decorating. Use them in vases, bowls, and jars for eye appeal. They are great for centerpieces for weddings and other events. The water beads really add a wow factor that can turn ordinary vases and bowls into something beautiful.

3. Water Beads for Plants
Water beads are also great to use with plants. They help plants retain water and reduce the amount of watering plants need. They release the water gradually so the plant isn't flooded with water.
The water beads can also act as a replacement for soil with some plants.Bamboo plants do well with water beads rather than soil.

How to Use Water Beads
1. 1 tsp dry beads will yield about 1 quart of Water beads when fully hydrated.
2. Allow the beads to fully expand in 6-8 hours.
3. Remove the expanded beads from the water and pour into vases or bowls and ready to use.

NOTE: The water beads is Non-toxic, but could not eat, Pleas keep away from kids under 3 years, play under adult's supervision

Fun in the tub and to water plants while away!

Bigger then I thought they would be! The longer they are in water the bigger they get.

Kids loved them

Fun Christmas gift

My daughter with autism love these. Her and my son already ate some pieces and no troubles. It didn't take the full 30 hours to get to full size. A few broke as they were growing. But overall a great item for kids! And adults!
