I usually use Flexrite 49 strand wire but Soft Flex original was highly recommended to me by several different jewelry crafters. It is easy to use and is a bit more flexible than the Flexrite. It does not crink or bend easily and it holds its' shape nicely. The only thing that hold me back from giving it 5 stars is that is is .001 thicker than the Flexrite which means that I cannot use it with fresh water pearls or stones that have a very fine stringing hole. That one .001 makes a huge difference. I will use the Soft Flex along with Flexrite 49 as they are both top quality products for my jewelry making.
This is hands down the highest quality stringing wire. I make mostly lanyards with it. With this wire and good quality findings... Sterling silver crimp tubes and wire protectors I end up with lanyards that will last and not break. If I am going to do something I do it the best I possibly can. Instead of replacing the inferior lanyards made with fishing line and the like, which break in no time, my customers can add to their collection.
This wire is so pliable and easy to work with. Amazon is the best ace to get it at the best price and it is well worth the cost.
My local stores don't carry 100-foot rolls, and sometimes I get tired of buying one or two small rolls at a time, so I bought the larger roll here. It was exactly as advertised and pictured and is the only beading wire I use for making my mala necklaces and bracelets. Dependable, flexible and strong.
I prefer Soft Flex to other beading wires, and I like the .019 for heavier stones. The order was promptly filled, and the price reasonable. Quite happy purchase, overall.
