It will work... My YSL bag only came with a shoulder length strap so I got this chain for a crossbody option. It is approx 9mm wide and appears nicely made, although the links are thinner than the pictures made them look on Amazon. Im attaching pics of it next to the YSL chain with is 12mm wide but considerably thicker links. I’m keeping it, and will continue to look for a more “substantial“ chain.
I use it to change the look of my crossbody purse. Love it.

I recently obtained a company car with a keyless remote. I can on occassion loose things- it is a joke but true. I was worried about the distance of the key from the car and started wearing a cross boy small bag. I have a Brighton bag and could not fine a strap for it.
